Iran asks for enemy soldier name list

An Iranian commander has asked the Red Cross to give a complete list of enlisted soldiers who will be deployed to Iran in case of war.
Head of the Foundation for the Remembrance of the Holy Defense Brigadier General Mir-Faisal Baqerzadeh requested the Red Cross provide a list of names in order to facilitate the identification of fallen soldiers in the event of a war on Iran.
Baqerzadeh, who also heads the missing soldiers search committee, announced earlier in June that Iran's Armed Forces had decided to dig '320,000 graves' in the country's border provinces for future slain invaders. In his letter to the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Iranian commander called for the organization's full cooperation to help preserve the identity of slain soldiers.
"The provided information should include the soldier's name, family name, father's name, nationality, unit number, identification tag information, and most recent place of residency," read the letter.
Baqerzadeh also called for a closed-door meeting between Iran's missing soldiers search committee and the Red Cross to further discuss the proposal.
