George Bush e' arrivato in Israele
"Ci sono nuove opportunità per una "pace durevole" tra isrealiani e palestinesi. Il presidente Usa George W. Bush sbarca a Tel Aviv per la sua prima visita in Israele da quando è alla Casa Bianca. Ad accoglierlo i vertici governativi e militari israeliani. "Gli Usa sono il nostro più forte alleato nella guerra al terrorismo" commenta il premier israeliano, Ehud Olmert. Mentre il capo dello stato israeliano Shimon Peres ricorda come "la minaccia iraniana non vada sottovalutata". (Repubblica)

Se il rapporto finale della Commissione Winograd costringera' il Primo Ministro Olmert a rinunciare all'incarico attuale, il ministro degli Interni, Meir Sheetrit, e non Tzipi Livni, sara' il candidato di Kadima...
