The head of Iran's nuclear program cancels meeting with ElBaradei

This is bad news...

VIENNA (AP)--The U.N. nuclear watchdog agency says that a top Iranian official has canceled a meeting with the head of the agency.

The official with the International Atomic Energy Agency says no reason was given for the cancellation of Monday's meeting between IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei and the head of Iran's nuclear program, Gholamreza Aghazadeh.

But the cancellation appears to reflect current tensions over Tehran's nuclear program and allegations that it has been trying to make atomic arms.

The IAEA official was speaking Sunday on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to make announcements on the agency's behalf. (NASDAQ)
