Petroleos de Venezuela signs contract with Gazprom

Hugo Chavez calls it a "historic moment"

Moscow-Petroleos de Venezuela signed a contract for eight projects with foreign companies, among them the Italian Eni, Japan's Mitsui and the Russian «Gazprom».

The ceremony was attended by the same president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez.

As «RIA Novosti» reports, with reference to the AP, the total amount of investment is 19.6 billion dollars. (KP.RU)
