Hizbullah Member Threatens Jewish Woman on Facebook

Counter-terrorism agents are investigating an overseas death threat made by an alleged Hizbullah member against an Australian woman using the internet social networking website Facebook, The Weekend Australian newspaper reported.

It said the probe, the first of its kind, was launched after the man who is allegedly named Ibrahim Dirani made the threat against the woman, who is Jewish, after she declined his online "friendship request."

According to police documents, the man, a member of the Lebanon-based Facebook group wrote: "I am Hizbullah and I am going to kill you and all of your family - promise you."

The Weekend Australian said Dirani was banned by the network after police launched their investigation this week. (Naharnet)
