Faced with Iran’s integrity, the enemy quitted invasion scenario: top commander

TEHRAN, July 13 (ISNA)-Iran’s armed forces chief of staff Brigadier General Hassan Firouzabadi said the enemy quitted its scenario of invading Iran facing with integrity and unity of Iran’s nation.
The history of great wars shows that a nation’s vigilance deprives enemy from victory, he said reminding that Iran’s Supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei has called army commanders to be prepared for threats by the country’s enemies.
The United States, the “big Satan” has trooped to the region to dominate its oil and energy reserves and encircle Iran, Firouzabadi said.
“The enemy was pursuing the scenario of invading Iran but quitted it when faced with the country’s integrity and unity and its skilled and experienced armed forces,” he continued referring to the recent military maneuver that the Revolutionary Guard Corps performed in Persian Gulf.
