Iran may reveal more of its military might

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the country's recent missile tests have provided 'a mere glimpse into Iran's military might'.
Following a Sunday cabinet session in Tehran, President Ahmadinejad said the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) would demonstrate more of Iran's military capabilities 'if necessary'.
The IRGC concluded an extensive military exercise on Sunday in response to recent threats from the US and Israel. During the military exercise, Iran test-fired new long- and medium-range missiles, including the upgraded Shahab 3 missile equipped with a one-ton conventional warhead and capable of hitting targets within a 2,000-kilometer range.
"The maneuvers demonstrated Iran's military strength and exposed the enemy's inability in attacking our country," Ahmadinejad continued. "In the future, they will see that our defense capabilities are hundreds of times more than what was demonstrated in the recent maneuver," he added.
The president's remarks came a day after a senior Iranian official said that Tehran would respond by striking Israel and 32 US bases in the region if the country comes under attack over its uranium enrichment program. (Press TV)
