Jordan King Abdullah Postpones Iraq Visit
AMMAN (AFP)-08.07.08
Jordan's King Abdullah II has postponed his trip to Iraq that had been initially scheduled to take place this week for "security reasons," diplomatic sources said Tuesday.
"King Abdullah postponed his visit to Iraq for purely security reasons after Iraq announced the date of the trip," one of the sources told AFP.
They didn't give details or specify a new date for the visit, which would have been the first by an Arab head of state since the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003.
