Young people in Israel fall asleep as Gordon Brown gives speech

Gordon Brown called on youngsters to volunteer to work on a kibbutz during a speech to the Israeli parliament yesterday.
But they all looked like they were going to sleep on his, er, obviously thrilling suggestion.
The PM said he wanted the "spirit" of the kibbutz - farms which provide free food and lodging for voluntary work - to spread across the globe to create a "global army" of volunteers to help in areas hit by natural disasters, war or famine.
Going by the reaction, it may take time...
