Jordanian Air Force delivers humanitarian goods to residents of South Ossetia


Jordanian Air Force aircraft has delivered 11 tons of humanitarian goods for residents of South Ossetia, landing today in Beslan.

Earlier, at a meeting in Moscow with President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, Jordanian King Abdullah declared the intention to provide necessary assistance to the republic of South Ossetia. According to the latest data from EMERCOM, foreign states and international organizations in South Ossetia have already received more than 300 tons of cargo, in particular, food, drinking water, clothing, building materials, tents and power plants.
